As 2024 remains on track to be one of the biggest global election years in history, independent media is under attack. How do global news organizations build trust among audiences in a world awash with propaganda, misinformation, and disinformation? How do they circumvent censorship to reach people in restrictive media environments? How do they protect journalists who are targeted for simply doing their jobs? These are just a few of the questions addressed during the program.
